Take A Tour

• Explore CourseCompass Use the tools available on the main CourseCompass page, which is the starting point for all your courses. You also learn about the basic parts of most CourseCompass courses.
• Register & enroll using an access code Register for CourseCompass when you have an access code, which is included in the access kit that comes with your new textbook.
  Note: If you did not buy a new textbook, you may be able to purchase a separate access code kit from your bookstore. If not, contact your instructor.
• Register & enroll by purchasing online Register, enroll, and pay for a course online if you don't have an access code. You can pay for your course using a credit card or a PayPal account.
• Enroll in another course Sign up for another semester of a course that uses the same book, change sections within a course, retake a course, or take a new course when you already have a login name and password.
  Note: Additional tours are available for some MyLab courses. To find out whether your MyLab course has more tours, go to Pearson MyLabs, click the name of your MyLab, and check the website.

• Explore CourseCompass Use the tools on the main CourseCompass page, which is the starting point for all your courses. This tour also introduces you to the basic components of most CourseCompass courses.
• Create & setup a course Create a course in CourseCompass. This tour also guides you through the instructor Control Panel, where you can customize your courses.
• Set your course dates & type Specify course dates and set up a template course. The tour explains how to customize your template and then copy it so students can enroll in it or your colleagues can copy it.
• Personalize your Courses list Organize the Courses area on your personal My CourseCompass page. You can choose what courses to show and change the order of the courses.
• Show or hide your course announcements Manage your course announcements on the My CourseCompass page.
• Create an assessment Create tests by previewing and copying questions provided by Pearson, or by importing tests from other instructors' courses.
• Make an assessment visible Deploy a test in your course and display it to your students.
• Add & grade an assignment Add an assignment to your course. The tours also explains how a student completes and submits the assignment, and how you view and grade the student's assignment.
• Use the gradebook Use the CourseCompass gradebook. The tour shows you the basics and some key advanced features, such as weighting grades and displaying grades in different formats.
• MyPlaces Use MyPlaces to easily access all your Pearson products.
